Project will not open

Help. I keep getting an error and it wont even open the file so I could relink it. I've tried duplicating the project. Nothing.
There is no way to even go into the file structure to try and fix this.
It's a great app that needs a lot of work to be usable at a studio level. 
But any ideas how to fix this? Where is /ProjectItems/

This error is a little misleading because the path it is talking about here is in the project's object model and not in the file system. It basically means that there's a stray reference to an item that was deleted (a bug that caused the model to get into an invalid state).

If you want to send me a zip file containing the project's Ch Data/repo.noindex subfolder, I could take a look and see what has gone wrong. It's also possible that opening the project while holding shift will clear up the issue.

Sometimes the stray reference is in a selection state and if you open the project while holding shift it may clear up the error. I'd be interested in getting a copy of the project either way, though since bugs of this sort are ones we do want to find.
