Arms not attaching to origin

Can someone please confirm if this is a bug or the product has changed. I am rigging a character for the first time and have followed exact steps as guided by the @oksamurai in the the youtube video.

Using

Character Animator Version 23.1
Device : Macbook Pro with M1

macOS : Ventura 13.2.1

Tested with both Apple silicon and intel version.

The arms are not connecting to the origin automatically. I have tested my custom pupeet and even lots of sample puppets from adobe.

This is for the steps outline here for the timestamp https://youtu.be/hK-DjtiPzRs?t=1612

The green dot line does not appear, also moving the dragger does not change to green square box.

Please validate if this is a bug or something has changed since this video was made.

Correct answer ElectroPuppet

All still works - I'm on an M1 mac also. If you look down on the bottom left of the puppet you should see a little mesh symbol. Hover over it and it will say 'Show Mesh Outline and Auto Handles'. Make sure you have that turned on. it should be blue. Then your green square should work for you.

Hope that helps you out.
