Body Tracking doesn't work but lip sync and head movement does

Hi,

I am new to Character Animator.  I created an Illustrator puppet from Okay Samurai's a tutorial (believe he works for Adobe) using the blank puppet.  The puppet is live and works in Character Animator except for the arm and leg movement.  I have tried several things.   I have activated body tracking symbol and it tracks my head and shoulder movement, side to side but no arm or hand movement.  The lip sync function works as well.

When I load a different stock character from the Character Animator home screen, in the Character Animator app, all the movement works.

I don't think I messed with anything related to the behavior aspect of the process. I opened the blank Adobe template and edited the layers according to the tutorial.  At the end of Okay Samurai's tutorial the character's arms and legs track the way they are supposed to, after he modified it.  I followed the same steps but having issues with body movement.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?  Do I upload Illustrator file?

Thank you!

I can't open the file either. You can use a file sharing service like drop box or google drive to upload the zip file and share the link either here or in a direct message.

I am not sure if the blank character is rigged for body tracking. For a puppet to use body tracking, the "body" and "Limb IK" behaviors need to be present in the root layer of the puppet (the base layer containing the head and body layers). There are several videos on the subject. Have you seen this one? Body Tracking (Adobe Character Animator) - YouTube

Thanks for the reply.  I just found that video earlier this morning. I watched it,  and it does cover the topic of body tracking very in depth, but as far as I can see, I have the proper things enabled in the rig screen, and the eyes and facial features work, eyebrows move, eyes blink etc., just that the body isnt moving, and in the tutorial I watched yesterday, he uses the blank character and customizes it. I will keep trying things and report back if I fix it.  Thank you for taking the time to help.
