Bug?

First, no files were moved.  That's the first thing folks are going to ask, I'm sure...

But when I opened a project I'd been working on for days, I get the following error, which I cannot interpret. And the record screen looks jumbled.  (see attachments for screenshots)

According to some responses I have received on Facebook groups, this is a common issue that has driven folks away from CA.  

Please help/respond...?
