CA 2024 Not importing AI artwork like it used to

Question

I write animated songs. The backgrounds are scenes that have artwork and occassionally triggers. I upgraded to CA 2024. Now most of the artwork isn't showing up. I can't create triggers like I used to. I'm using OS 12.6.

The artwork keeps coming up in AI with these things. (See Attachment)

Is there an additional step I am missing, or is this just a bug? If a bug, I need it fixed ASAP.

I figured this out. It's irritating, but at least after about 10 hours, I can make it work.

1. All the artwork (if you change anything in AI) needs to be embedded, or it doesn't show up

2. If you change AI after you've done the triggers, then you need to redo the triggers.

3. Unfortunately, if you make any changes to your previous AI with PS Images, or GIF, or PNG, they have to be manually embedded.

To the best of my limited knowledge, this is new to 2024.
