CH Beta. triggering leader follower

Hi. I have assigned the leader follower to each arm as leader and each oar/paddle as follower. I would like to assign a trigger to move the arms to get the rowing action. I was looking at the'Knight' puppet but could not see how the 'swipe' was done. Thanks, Tracey.

So the swipe was done as a replay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZioGOAt8RE) - I just recorded specific dragger positions, blended the ends, and turned it into a replay.
