Character Animator 2017 Won't Create New Project on Server

Ever since updating to Character Animator 2017 I can't create a new project on my server. I can make a new folder when selecting "new project", but before the new project loads I get this error:

Internal error code: (726879107:1331+85) libgit2 error -1 (2/Failed to write out file: Permission denied) returned from git_treebuilder_write(&topTreeOid, rawTreebuilderP)

I use TerraBlock Manager from Facilis for our server.

However when I create a new Character Animator project file on my local drive, it works fine and a new project file is created. Any suggestions?

The next release of Ch may fix this issue, but we have no ship date yet. In the meantime, libgit2 errors like this are usually caused some system indexer or sync tool that is opening Ch's project files at the same time as Ch. So it may be worked around by turning off Dropbox or similar file-syncing software, or turning off file indexing (Spotlight on Mac, or Windows Search Indexing -- you can exclude the Documents/Adobe/Character Animator folder).

But your server issue may require the next release to fix. If you'd like to join our prerelease program to test it on your system, please contact me directly.
