Hi!
I drew a character in Illustrator. Animated it in Character Animator and exported it to After Effects (first as png sequence and then with the dynamic link). When I am exporting the scene there my character gets very blurry. I did set the resolution to High (400%) and unchecked Render as Vector. I drew the original character in Illustrator in 4K, so the scaling can not be the problem.
When exporting as png sequence the png is already blurry
What I already tried:
Raise resolution to High (400 % in Ch)
Export from Ch as png sequence
Export with dynamic link
Scale it to 1920 x 1080 in Illustrator
I would need a solution really urgent as the clients deadline is tomorrow...
Thanks in advance,
Nasha

Hi Nasha,
I believe you were able to find a workaround by increasing the dpi for the artwork file in Illustrator, correct?

Exactly. I was not aware that the dpi mattered for the export as 72dpi for screens is usually enough but it obviously did 😉
And, I changed the codec in After Effects too to Apple Pro Res 422.
Thanks again for your help though!!
