Controlling two different avatars on 1 computer.

I have two separate avatars for Adobe Character Animator. We are using them for a podcast, and we want to make them talk individually on a single computer. When one person speaks, one avatar should be active, and when the other speaks, the second avatar should take over. However, we only have one computer. Is this possible?

Normally when additional puppets are in a scene, you have to go back and record it again for each puppet. I am not aware of anyway for the program to discern the separate inputs in a single "take."
