Getting libgit2 error -4(6/ attempt to reinitialize FILEPATH) returned from git_repository_init_ext

I was able to open the application and do some basic training a few days ago. Now whether I open an existing project or attempt to create a new project I receive the error.  Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Maybe there's a problem with that network path. Can you try creating a new project on a local drive?
