How can I drag my head around my neck well? (without adjusting the x, y values)

Hi! I have a question!
I'm practicing with a Ninja character.
The part where the head is shared with the body (front, half side, complete side)
It's weird, so I ask.
When I drag my head from the project panel and put it on the body, the head goes into the body chest, as shown in the picture below.
The front face is attached well to the neck.
How can we make it put in the same position as the head of the front when dragging?

I don't have much (err, any!) experience with shared puppets - but I think you just select the layer in the rigging hierarchy, then drag the artwork on the screen to where you want it. Its probably defaulting to the center of the layer you are dropping it in.
