How to: Setup size for Illustrator

I am creating my character in Illustrator. What size artboard should I be using?

Hi,

Thanks for the post. For character design in Illustrator, the recommended artboard size is at least 3300 x 2550 pixels, especially if you want crisp detail and might print your work later. Let me know if that works for you.

Kevin, you might or might not know the answer to this question. I know that vector files in Animator remain vectors when imported into the program. However, I am not sure if that is also the case with CH. Do Illustrator files stay as vectors or does CH rasterize them?
