Necesito ayuda, para la tarea debo crear una marioneta, descargar la plantilla en blanco y reemplazarla con las partes de mi personaje, pero cuando intento importarla a Character Animator dice que no es compatible.

Editing the original file should take you directly to either Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and when you save the file there, it should automatically be updated in Character Animator. What happens when you right click on the blank puppet name and select "Edit Original"?

"Edit Original" should open up Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, depending on what program the puppet was originally made in. Is that not happening?

Are you in Starter mode or Pro mode?
In the project panel, in Pro mode, find the puppet name and right click on it. You should see this menu:
Click on "Edit Original."
I do not believe this can be done in Starter mode.

The error message appears to be happening in the Home screen. You will have to launch the Blank puppet in Character Animator before you can edit it.

I am not sure I understand what you are asking.
What version of character animator are you using, Starter or Pro?

You can only import .puppet files into the Starter version and they need to be set up a certain way, which I have no experience with. Those files can be made with the Pro version, but they need specific triggers to work with Starter because the Starter version lacks some of the inputs from the Pro version. As far as I know, the Blank puppet was never meant to be used in Starter. What does your puppet look like and what was it created in?
