Missing pupil

Hello, can someone please help me? I purchased this puppet dog and coloured black. All went well, but now I see the left eye on the left quarter head is not showing up.  I have tried everything; going through the settings slowly, comparing the settings line for line with the right eye, duplicated an eye and lastly restarted my laptop. Nothing worked. I can see the eye clearly in Illistrator, so it's driving me insane! 

 

Please let me know what you need from me. First time in any forum in my life. this stuff is hard, but the most fun I have had in years!

Let's start with the rigging hierarchy. (post a screenshot if you can). Is the pupil tagged correctly? Is it located in the proper place on the puppet (for instance, not far away from the eye itself)? Checking the rigging is the first step in fixing common problems.

Thank you so much for responding. I placed a patch on her, was thinking of a new storyline that she was a rescue from dog fighting and moved on to creating another puppet, so forgot to come back. I also spent a day pulling eyes apart and putting them back together to get a bettter understanding. Seeing your message, I opened her up and sure enough; I didn;t have the pupil visibility button selected. I now have an extra arm showing up on another puppet I can't find lol. I will eventually find it.

 

I think I have learned a bit of everything for a series I would like to launch in feb, exceeept magnets. This confuses me to no end and it seems so simple, but once I hear math terminolagy, my brain tunes out. Is there any resourses I can view except Dave's video. I have watched that so much and I still only get it someone what.

What are you trying to do with hidden layers? Perhaps create a swap set?


Please forgive me. I found out my confusion is being caused bt a medical issue. Evertthing started confusing me.
