Prop with physics and magnet

Hello, I've been trying to get a fidget spinner to be a prop that spins around my character's finger.  I've done a lot of trial and error and it would even work at times but the performance wouldn't record  properly. Any thoughts?

Hinge is perfect for this and would to get it to work.  Thank you!

I've never made something exactly like this so not 100% sure what's happening, but in general I don't think magnets and hinge play along very nicely together. In the magnets examples from okaysamurai.com/puppets, I notice if I set the "free" coffee cup to "hinge" I also get weird results. So unfortunately it may just be a current limitation of dragger + magnets. Maybe a cycle layers animation for the spinner might be more reliable? Nice idea!

Hello Dave thank you for the reply! I've kept the spinner in the body group so it can be behind the hand and in front of the body but once I took it out of the arm group and it was it's on individual item it began working just fine.  Thanks again

Anyone get a chance to look at this? It seems to get the physics to work I need to make sure the spinner has a dynamic tag going.  I also noticed that without these tags the hinge of the spinner begins to drift away from the puppets hand which may be the root of the issue since the spinner is moving away from the hand once I start dragging the hand.
