Switch between scenes during livestream

Say I have multiple characters, each with their own scene/background. I'd like to simply trigger to go to the next scene. This would be during a livestream. 

I saw another similar post with a solution. But what I'm doing is far simpler (I think?). So is there a setup for this? Thanks!

you can create all sorts of triggers to go to the next scene (using gotoAndPlay or gotoAndStop), but i don't see livestreaming is relevant.  if it is, please explain.
