Why does the free trial of Pro Character Animator require a credit card?

Hi All,

I'm trying to test out pro features of Character Animator, but the free trial really isn't a free trial, it's more of a free week before you start paying for a subscription.

I've not used Character Animator before, and we've not yet committed to any software, and we'll need to be testing various software out, not just this, so commiting to this software by entering my credit card details before I've even yet to open the software up (outside of starter mode) is just unrealistic.

I'd like to use the Adobe software but am not willing to throw around my credit card numbers for this fake trial.

Is there a way around this?

That is true, but you can cancel before the week is up and there will be no charge.

Besides using the free Starter mode, or the free Animate from Audio web version (https://express.adobe.com/express-apps/animate-from-audio/), you could get a good idea of the capabilities by watching Dave Werner’s YouTube tutorials which are quite extensive: https://pages.adobe.com/character/en/tutorials
