Can't see schemas with RDS on Oracle

I'm working for a client which uses Oracle 11.2.

Unfortunately I can't see the Oracle Schemas over RDS. The RDS connection to the remote server is fine and I'm able to open the schemas for the example databases (cfartgallery) BUT NOT for the Oracle database. When I try to open the 'table' icon to see the schema, I can't connect and get a "RDS Time Out" message after 30s.

In some kind I depend heavely on the oracle RDS database connection to the client for this job, thus I'm stuck now...

Any suggestion or ideas?

our systemadmin used another oracle driver which worked!!! unfortunatly can't say which one since I work on another project now...
