CF10 Enterprise License/Dev problem

I am currently trying to learn CF10, Originally I installed the standalone developer edition, recently I decided to go ahead with the enterprise edition. My issue is that when I go to system info to update my license it applies it & saves but yet it still shows developer edition.

I also tried a clean install, I still got no results.

Am I missing some setting or critical step that needs to be done in order to get it in enterprise mode? I already validated and registered my license so I know that is ruled out.

Any ideas? suggestions?

    Hello DakaPC5,

    Please try the following:-

    Go to the folder cf_install\cfusion\lib and open the file license.properties.

    Enter the serial number at , sn= and save the file.

    Restart ColdFusion 10 Application service.

    Log in to the ColdFusion 10 Administrator and check the edition.

    Hello DakaPC5,

    I also faced the same problem. but as per the suggestions of Anit_kumar if we follow the steps it will work.

    We just  go through the following process:

    1)Go to the folder cf_install\cfusion\lib and open the file license.properties.

    2)Enter the serial number at , sn= and save the file.

    3)Restart ColdFusion 10 Application service.

    4)Log in to the ColdFusion 10 Administrator and check the edition.

    We need to restart coldfusion 10 Application server.

    Hello Biswajit,

    We just tried this again (after the Hotfix 11 update) even though the proper serial number shows in the license.properties file but they tell me it's the same result.

    I only work off of the dev and, sometimes, staging servers so I do not know how the team handling our production servers is working this out, but it is disconcerting.

    I hope this is resolved soon?

    Thank you, However the sn=  in the file is correct,

    I am pasting the lic file (without the sn of course)
