Question

CF10 reverted to Developer and remains there

CF10 reverted to the Developer Edition seemingly overnight.  I checked other posts about the license.properties file and making sure the serial number is in there.  We have uninstalled / reinstalled as well as restarted the service and server.  Need some help on new next steps.

Hi Tyson,

In ColdFusion10\cfusion\logs\ coldfusion-out.log what does part of the CF startup say? EG

14/07 08:43:04 INFO License Service: Flex 1.5 CF Edition enabled
14/07 08:43:04 INFO Starting Flex 1.5 CF Edition
Jul 14, 2014 08:43:04 AM Information [pool-2-thread-1] - Starting logging...
Jul 14, 2014 08:43:04 AM Information [pool-2-thread-1] - Starting license...
Jul 14, 2014 08:43:06 AM Information [pool-2-thread-1] - Standard Edition enabled

Here’s what I found in the coldfusion-out.log.

08/19 22:11:36 INFO License Service: Flex 1.5 CF Edition enabled

08/19 22:11:36 INFO Starting Flex 1.5 CF Edition

Aug 19, 2014 22:11:37 PM Information - Starting logging...

Aug 19, 2014 22:11:37 PM Information - Starting license...

Aug 19, 2014 22:11:38 PM Information - Developer Edition enabled

Hi Tyson,

Does CFadmin > System Information > New License - type in your valid keys then press submit report a result?
