What happens when you change your port number under
Coldfusion Administrator -> Mail Settings from "25" to "9998"
(the one you have with SmarterMail)???
The log does not tell me anything but other than the mail the
webstore sents, that one particular email does not reach the
customer (user) registered at our store.
Just one particular customerservice@ourdomainname.com that
does it, the other ones orders@ourdomainname.com do get to
customers. I am baffled
We are on VPS account and the email sent via SmarterMail
supplies the message ID with
80ae8a477e654058bc2d083970393258@nameofmy vps-server.myvps-host.net
so i guess is not a SmarterMail issue. Actually only one
particular email is not sent by CFMAIL - just one.. ain't that
weird. How do I correct this. Where should I look once more.
Have you checked the mail log. Any errors logged over there?
I did and the mails that are sent via the store end up being
moved tot the undelivered mail directory
Moved undelivered mail: Mail47389.cfmail to
C:\ColdFusion8/Mail/Undelivr directory
This is however not the case when sent a mail via the
SmarterStat webapplication running on that same server with the
same corresponding mail adres that the store itself uses to sent
confirmation emails to customers or sent out newsletters.
