Coldfusison 18: writing signatures using canvas and <cfimage> tag issue

Recently switched to coldfusion 18, Was trying to capture signatures using signature pad and canvas but seems to me <cfimage> tags are not properly capturing the signatures. Writing an image to file using capturing the whole frame instead of that signature. Where all the tags and code is properly working on coldfusion 11. Can someone tell me what's going on here?
