Oracle 11.2 service name

I sure hope there is somebody about who can answer a question.

Getting back to ColdFusion after a few years absence.

I am trying to connect a ColdFusion 11 installation to an Oracle 11.2 database.  There is no SID associated with this database, rather it apparently uses a Service name: "snet.world".

How can I connect to this oracle database with my ColdFusion 11?
