SOME MEANINGS:

verb tr., intr.:

1. To deceive, to flatter, to taunt, to talk nonsense.

adjective:

1. Insincere or deceptive.

noun:

1. Insincere, pretentious, or exaggerated talk.

Have left out those relating to music and dance...

BTW "Jive" also is a slang term for marijuana, as in the song "Hit That Jive Jack", recorded by Nat King Cole, Diana Krall, and others. ("Hit that jive Jack. Put it in your pocket till I get back.")

So, obviously we now know what this Jive software is all about! And what the guys there have been smoking!!

Actually, 'J' is short for 'Joint' – could be a marijuana or a hash(ish) filled cigarette...

Wow, if only Jiveware could give pointless points to original thread posters, that's simply priceless.

So then what is Adobe management on?  For all the time and MONEY they've obviously invested in this thing, they probably could have setup a farm of free php forum servers, customized some of the graphics to Adobe-ize it, and had everything up and running in a month or two with no stability or bug issues.  Can't complain about performance/load when you can (probably) go as far as putting a single forum on a server if needed (which I'm sure would be overkill).  Solves the problem of infinitely long forum search lists, too.
