Creative Cloud icon does not appear on the menu bar mac book pro M5 Tahoe

Community Beginner ,

I recently migrated from an Intel Sequoia MacBook Pro to a Tahoe 26.0.1 MacBook Pro M5. On my new Mac, I reinstalled Creative Cloud (6.8.0.821) and the Adobe applications included in my account. Every time I turn on my Mac, the Creative Cloud application launches and opens its own window on the desktop, but the icon doesn't appear in the menu bar like it did on my previous Mac. I've attached two System Settings screenshots showing that Creative Cloud is included in login items, is a background app and is allowed in the menu bar. Despite this, the icon doesn't appear in the menu bar.

Thank you, in the meanwhile the problem is apparently solved. For other reasons I have cleaned everything with the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and reinstalled everything, CC and Apps. At the next boot the CC icon has reappeared in the menu bar.

Hi @giorgiol35705912,

Thanks for reporting this issue with the Creative Cloud icon not appearing in the menu bar on your MacBook Pro M5 (Tahoe). We understand how important it is to have quick access to your Creative Cloud apps and updates.

Here are a few steps you can give a try:

  • Within the app, go to Preferences > General > Settings and ensure “Start Creative Cloud at login” is enabled.
  • If the issue persists, consider signing out and back in.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Tarun

Hello and thank you for the suggestions. CC application is already enabled to start at login, to stay in the menu bar and to run in background. I've signed out from the account and then signed in again, but the issue persists, still can't see the CC icon in the menu bar.

can you get by with a shortcut on your desktop?

Yes, of course, at the moment as a stopgap solution I keep the app icon in the dock, but I don't know if here it can provide notification - red/blue ball - for messages, updates and so on.

as long as it's running, it will.

Thanks for the update, @giorgiol35705912 and glad the issue is resolved. Can you share what version of Tahoe you have installed? We haven't been able to reproduce this issue internally so any info you can share would help us.

LATEST

Now 26.1, but the problem appeared with the previous 26.0.1, as soon as I migrated from an old mac book pro intel.
