Animate filters and gradient not looking smooth

For some reason, when I put in a filter or a gradient, there's these weird lines that appear and it messes with how I want certian images to look. I tried going through all of my settings, but nothing seems to fix this. Can anyone help me? I'll attach the screenshots to show what I mean.

Huh. That's weird. On my end, it looks like there are faded circles on the image.

I expect there to be smoothness in the gradient and not have any weird faded lines. It also messes with the glow effect because it looks like there are gaps in the lighting. Idk how else I can explain it.

the middle image is the only one that appears to have 3 set points.
