Can't sign out of Creative Cloud with old account

New Here ,
Jul 30, 2022 Jul 30, 2022

Hi! I was previously using a work account to access Creative Cloud and apps. The account has since been deactivated and i'm having issues loggin in to Creative Cloud on my Ipad. When i open the app, i click to sign in....and nothing happens. When i try to access Photoshop, i get a Sign in Failed message.

Originally was having the same issue with my laptop but managed to find a solution for that but no idea how to resolve on the Ipad.

I no longer have access to the email/password for my work account and it's been deactivated. How do i go about changing my login credentials on Ipad to no longer use this account?

Thanks!

Hi,

i can't Sign Out because I can't sign in with that account in the first place. As mentioned it's been deactivated by my old job and when trying to use Creative Cloud I wasn't even given the option to change the email I wanted to log in with. This is also for IPad specifically.

I did find a workaround. I randomly decided to choose to sign in via Google and when I put in my email it found my Adobe account and linked it. Seems like an odd solution but it worked.

Using your browser, go to Creative Cloud online.

https://creativecloud.adobe.com/

Click your avatar and select Sign Out.

Wait a minute or two.

Sign in with your personal ID & password.

delete the cached login profile/files from the problematic computer by:

> Remove Adobe-related entries from Control Panel >> Credential Manager >> Windows Credentials.

> Delete all the files and folders from C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE*

*

Delete the entire contents of the OOBE folder:

1) Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app from the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

2) Browse to the following location based on your operating system.

    A) Mac OS: /Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
NOTE: \Users\<user name>\Library\ is hidden by default. To unhide see below*

    B) Windows: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
NOTE: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData is hidden by default.  To unhide see below*

You can choose the location for installating Creative Cloud. Please follow this article for reference: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/change-install-location.html

I have the same issue, I have a paid membership on an old account I no longer have access to. I want to transfer my products to my new account but I can only contact the support via a paid account, which I can no longer access. I really want to use the software I paid for but Adobe is not helping...

you can't transfer apps to another account.  just install the apps after signing into the cc desktop app with your new account.

also, using your new adobe id, contact adobe support and see if they can cancel the old account.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
