The new layout makes it difficult to figure out what's updating or if it is updating especially the Beta versions.

I agree with the OP.  I am on Version 6.1.0.587-

The main central window is full of ALL Apps (that I do not need to see!).

The 'Installed Apps'  list appeasr in a small column on the right of screen. (Whereas before, they were visible in the main central window.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1, Photoshop 27.2, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.1, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.1 .

You still see the normal, user-friendly layout. I'm running the same CC version as yours - but my app already features the new UI, just like the one reported by OP. I find the new UI greatly inferior to the previous one. I assume the new UI wasn't rolled out to all users yet, possibly intentionally. I hope that the previouis UI can be restored.

i only use the cc desktop app to answer other user questions about it.  i've never found any feature of it particularly useful (other than installing apps - which is more a necessity than useful).

Yes, seeing something else- (unless I am 'missing' something~!)

I can click on the Category filters above the main window and limit the apps available from Adobe.

The [Apps] icon on the left of screen does nothing.

The only way to  see only my Installed apps is the column on the right of screen (apart from the buttons on apps in the main screen.)-
