Creative Desktop App default language

How do I install the Creative Cloud Desktop app in another language? The default install is in the system default language.

Another particularly annoying feature of Adobe is that it confuses Brazilian Portuguese with Portuguese. These languages are quite different and I always have to manually change all applications to English instead. Ideally there should be a Portuguese from Portugal (pt-pt) version available. If this is not possible, do not assume that a Portuguese system will use PT-BR by default instead. Many thanks

I don't think you're an Adobe employee, so I really appreciate your response. Do you know if this forum is monitored by Adobe? I would really like some feedback from them regarding the language issue. Believe me it is really annoying for a lot of people I talk and work with here in Portugal but also in other countries who speak Portuguese but not Brazilian Portuguese. Thanks again!

you're correct.  i'm not an adobe employee.

sometimes adobe employees check here, but it's very sporadic.  that said, you can add your voice to the others with this suggestion in the cc desktop ideas forum.  do you want me to move your post there or you can repost your request yourself.

Hi @CGrimReaper , we're working on providing controls so that you can choose the language of the Creative Cloud app so that it is different than the OS language.

Your observation of the language being pt-BR is also correct. I'll pass your feedback along to our localization team.

Hi @CGrimReaper . The next version of the Creative Cloud desktop app (releasing in a few weeks) will have the ability to change the language of the app from the "Preferences" menu.
