I don't want the logo there - how can I remove it?
Thank you for any suggestions and help.
Hi There,
Thank you for reaching out to us. To rearrange your Menu bar Icons or buttons like Creative Cloud Application Icon, you need to hold the command key down . then you could drag them back and forth to put them in the order you want. You could get rid of them by command, clicking, and dragging down until you see an "X" and the releasing and it will remove from the menu bar.
Please let me know if this helps.
Regards,
Neelam

Hi There,
The icon appears because the Creative Cloud desktop app is open. The only way to remove it is to close the app. Please close the application of Creative Cloud and try removing it.
Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply and info.
If I quit the app, the icon goes away. So I'm not sure what you mean by quitting and then "removing it"? If I quit, it vanishes. So how do I remove it?
I find it intrusive that it decides to put itself there, without my permission. Apple lets you customise the toolbar so how come Adobe overrides this with its CC icon appearing there? I don't want it there at all.

Hi There,
I would like to know if the Creative Cloud icon stays in the menu bar when you don't use it. The above steps provided are to remove the Icon in the menu bar. Is there a way you could share what exactly happens when you try to remove, any recording may be for more understanding?

Neelam

Hi Neelam, I have this same request. I don't want to close the CC app, I just don't want it cluttering my menu bar. I tried to drag it off to remove it, but as TypoMan says, that doesn't work. In addition to his screenshot, here is a video of the same issue (also attached if link doesn't work).
I really hope the CC app devs can add a setting to hide this from the menu bar.

there is no such option.
for applicable apps, use https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html
for others, use https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

I had to drag the icon all the way down to the bottom of the screen and then it deleted it.

There's a free app in the appstore called "Hidden Bar". With that app you can hide any icon you want from the toolbar.

I am also having this issue. I don't even have the apps downloaded anymore, yet that icon still appears. Even if I pull it to the bottom of the screen. This seems to be a default if you download them to the hard drive.

None of the suggestions in this thread were helpful in removing the CC icon from the top menubar on my iMac.
This DID work:
Open the MacOS Activity Monitor (In the Utilities folder). Select the Creative Cloud process in the CPU window. While Creatic Cloud process is highlighted, click the X icon in the top of the Activity Monitor to kill the Creative Cloud process. Note: If Creative Cloud is set to launch on startup, it will reappear after rebooting.
