Hi @Earth visitor,
Thank you for reaching out. Upon checking, we can confirm that you have an individual Acrobat plan associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query.
Based on your message, it appears you would prefer not to use the Creative Cloud desktop app and would like to keep it closed. While Acrobat can operate without the Creative Cloud app once installed and activated, Adobe recommends keeping it installed, as it plays a key role in managing licensing, updates, and other essential services.
If you are only using Acrobat and wish to reduce the Creative Cloud app's background activity, you can consider the following:
1. Disable Creative Cloud from launching at login:
Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Navigate to Preferences > General.
Uncheck the option “Launch at login”.
2. Use the Acrobat standalone installer:
Since your plan is for Acrobat only, you can install Acrobat using the dedicated installer for Acrobat Standard or Pro. Please refer to the steps outlined in the following documentation:
Download and Install Acrobat
Should you need further assistance or run into any issues, feel free to reach out.
Regards,
^AN

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
