Thank You for sharing the feedback. We have looked in to this, and from next CCD release onwards, shortcut won't be added to sidebar in finder.

This is super annoying to me as well.

did you try to remove it?

I haven't done anything but manually remove it so far. It puts it back after a while every time so far. I'm on a mac so the solution here won't work for me.

same issue here, so frustrating and ridiculous of Adobe.

mac:

copy any important file to another folder and then delete Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID).

default location, Mac HD/Users/<Username>/Creative Cloud Files

windows:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/remove-cc-files-folder-shortcut-navigation-panel.html

if that fails, Open the registry editor (regedit.exe) & naviagate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace You'll probably have two sub-keys. OneDrive's sub-key will be nameed '{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}' Delete the other one, that will be Creative Cloud.

I don't follow the solution, can you explain more? Delete what? the folder, a file? is this on Adobe? is this on settings? Just not sure how to follow.

it means, your account type will appear instead of <account type>. an example is given parenthetically.

Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID

ie, if you have a personal account and your email is chris@gmail.com, you would see:

Creative Cloud Files Personal Account chris@gmail.com ####@Chris23755695ehy7

To anyone else confused by the comment, the solution is suggesting to delete the specific folder that keeps reappearing on the sidebar. The solution is informing you what the folder is named as. I use a Mac so mine was Macintosh HD > Users > and then it was inside the username folder. You can also search the folder name

@kglad, thank you for your help in finding that.
