Unable to receive verification code to connect to my account

Hello 🙂

 

I don't know if I am in the right section of the community but i'm rather new to this.

 

The problem is that I cannot access my account. When I tried to connect to my account, on the website and Creative Cloud, it said that they sent a verification code. Problem I do not have access to the email I used to create an account so I cannot receive that code. And no other options apppear. The mail I used is a school email (these .edu ones) but it is not linked to a mailbox. I thought the emails sent on this email address were directly redirected to my other school email, but no.

 

I contacted the customer service but it wasn't helpful because they cannot make change to one's account anymore (so actually there's no point in contacting them), I have to connect to change the email myself (great when we can't connect in the first place). The Adobe help center also doesn't help as it states that other option should be available when there weren't any.

 

So I don't what to do because I don't want to pay a lot of money that I don't have every month.

Okay so right after I posted this, I received the verification codes to my main school email (so it did automatically transfer between the .edu and the other one). I guess Adobe is just slow at sending codes. But now how do I delete this post?

Hi,

 

first, glad that worked out. Often it can also be just a matter of the Mailservers that deliver from one account to another take some time. Just be patience.

For the second part kglad said it right. Just leave it as a reminde for all that came after you 😉 Hope that helps.
