Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop keeps signing me out (on Mac)

Good day,
Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop keeps signing me out and, when I attempt to sign back in, it continuously says "Restart the CC app, or reboot your computer"; I end up alway having to reboot, the restart doesn't work. ever.
It happens so often it's extremely irritating now.

 

I see from old posts that the issue hasn't been resolved. Users only confirm that it happens to them too.

first, reset the cc app:

to reset the cc desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
