So I've been trying to make some projects in InDesign and I have some photos on my phone with I want to transfer to my computer. When I try to upload anything to my CreativeCloud files it only says "1 file(s) could not be uploaded. Filetype not supported.", we are talking about a jpeg. I can't upload anything besides Adobe's file formats like psd. I've tried uploading on PC, MAC and WEB and none of them works. I've used up 392.1 MB out of 120 GB.

Can somebody please help me?

image files are not cloud files.

at this time (but not for much longer), you can use your sync'd folder to share/sync image files.

When I want to transfer pictures from phone or camera to my computer I use a USB cable

Are you able to connect your phone to your computer with a cable?

Same issue - no files will upload to Cloud Documents (https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents).

The Synched folder still requires you to have a copy on your local machine and synch them to the Creative Cloud Synch Files. However, with the Cloud Documents Folder, it should be possible to store files in the cloud space only, to save local disk space. Also, since mentions of the Synched Folder stopping, what is the point of having 100GB cloud storage but not being able to store files there?

@kglad you mentioned cloud files - would you mind elaborating? Please excuse my ignorance, only a few days since purchasing the Creative Cloud Suite.

So let me get this straight... firstly, the Cloud Files are only available for a select few apps.

jim_ci_0-1701970254818.png

And secondly, the entire synch service and cloud storage is being discontinued.

Cancellation coming up in this case and I'll resort to Davinci Resolve.

Thanks @kglad , thanks for the quick response once again. If the local synch is stopping, then what synching is remaining? Struggling to understand how this cloud space will be of benefit.

well, as far as struggling to understand adobe's sync "system", i sympathize.  i find it easiest to not even think of a "system".  it's more like an amalgamation of several different systems with each working in its own  way.

to answer your last question, cloud documents will continue unchanged.  libraries will continue unchanged.  (and, if you use lightroom or acrobat sign, they will continue unchanged.)
