Cancel Subscription will loose 3d Assets?!

Hi, i need some helpe. The customer chat on adobe.com and the phone help phone line were not very helpfull.

I want to cancel my texturing subscription (monthly plan), for a while, because my last project ended. I plan to re subscribe in a few months again for the next project. But on the chat they said my already used/downloaded assets (333), will be deleted from the library. Same as my unused 104 assets.

So i will loose all my assets in my library (which i paid for). They said i can download them manually and then i have them forever. But this is not really the way to go. When i resubscribe, i cannot see in the online library what i already have. Then i have to double check my hard drive with the web browser? This is seriously not acceptable.

So there should be a solution, that my assets will not be deleted, and i can continue when i resubscribe in the future.

Btw. there is even not a download all button in the asset library, so i need to download 437 assets one by one ?! That is crazy...

Either you have a subscription or you don't.   When you cancel, you lose access to any unclaimed assets.  Save them to your hard drive first.  Later, when you re-subscribe,  move assets from your hard drive to your Cloud library.  Simple, simple.

Hi, no the google cloud is seperate from the substance 3d asset library...

Anyhow, the whole point of an monthly subscription base software concept is to use it on project base.

So they should consider that, in their user experience.

It's kind of like renting an apartment.

When you move out, you can't leave your possessions in it in case you want to rent it again.  You have to move out and then move back in if you rent it again.

Nice analogy.  🙂

And storage facilities cost money, too.
