I tried to just install Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat as that is all I need and I find that creative cloud really clogs up my devices + is very annoying to deal with, however the website will not let me install any of those apps due to not meet minimum requirements. This is a lie as I had been running these apps for a while on my current laptop but when I had to transfer accounts (transferred schools so my old one got deactivated) I couldn't sign out of creative cloud, so I tried just uninstalling everything and try again.
After it kept saying I don't meet the requirements I figured I would just deal with creative cloud then, however, it is only giving me the dmg file when I click download. Nowhere can I find the exe installer. When I try to run the dmg file it asks me if I want to run it using a exe file but then it does nothing. I tried extracting the dmg file but all I could find was the different data files, no exe installer. I am at a complete loss and I wish I could just download the apps and do my job (I am at work dealing with this).
Also I cannot find where to type in the correct topic so that is why mine doesn't really make sense.
Hey @Tate3818991907xs ,
May I know if you are using Opera GX to make the download ? If so please use another browser as Opera GX is not compatible and interferes with the recognition of Operating System function of our website and downloads a .dmg instead of .exe.
Kind Regards,
Hugo

If I try to download the creative cloud desktop app, it only want to download a DMG file, but I'm on windows. (https://www.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop/pdp/creative-cloud?action=install&source=pdp)
And I can't find a way to get a windows installer. (I think adobe's system should automaticly choose the right version but it's failling)
Where can I find a windows download?

This is a known issue with Chrome. Please try a different browser to get a Windows installer and let us know how it goes.

install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.
if you have trouble downloading the cc desktop app or you see an error message when trying to install, make sure you have a compatible os (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html), and use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

A .dmg file is an installer file for macOS. Are you on Windows? There was an issue a while back where Windows users were getting this alert. As I recall the solution was to use a different browser. I think Opera is the offender, and I see that at the top of your list.
You can also try this site to download an .exe:
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
If you are on a Mac, I take this all back. Let us know!
