Question

Cloud storage - uploading content already in folders

Hi,

I would like to use my cloud storage to store some packaged inDesign files that are currently stored on my laptop hard drive. I will have them in the cloud as security but also to share with a colleague. After going, round and round in circles with Adobe chat service, it appears that you can't upload a folder from a desktop to the cloud and since syncing files is no longer supported, I'm not sure there is much benefit to the cloud at all.

How are users finding this? Does anyone have a workaround for bulk uploading packaged content or as another example, an image library of photos structured in folders that you just want to place in the cloud?

Many thanks, Jo

you can't use adobe cc as a general file storage.  check another cloud storage system or even safer, purchase an external hard drive for storage.

this is a big minus point for Adobe. It used to be so easy beforehand. I manage a big book project with chapters being organised in folders, as each chapter is in turn managed by a separate team. It s a shame Adobe is not able to implement its changes in a way that existing projects can be transferred to the cloud only solution.

there are convenient and free alternatives (although beyond a few gb, they charge).
