I have been on chat with Adobe 3 times in 48 hours. I asked for a number to call - no one answered. It was a consistent loop of "pick one of the following nine options." I need to free up cloud space. AFTER it was full I got a notice that it was full. So, supposedly I can't sync all of my Express files to the cloud because it's full. So some are "stuck" on iPad, where I can't use the calendar to schedule posts. So they are taking up space and I can't even use the scheduling feature.
B. Now that I've freed up space, I STILL want to free up space, because I don't want to keep going through this. I see that a lot of the problem goes all the way back to "migrating" Sketch to Fresco. Which took weeks because I got some very flip answers after their "just click here and it will all go from Sketch to Fresco seemlessly" link didn't work. I know based on my designs when I worked on some projects which are from Sketch, but they also have the same creation date. Not to mention they are in named folders and then read Document 1, Document 2, etc. (Also, in certain places these files read GEM FILE below them.)
C. In addition if I access CreativeCloud from assets, PS, AI, iMac, iPad, etc. they all contain a different set of files. (No wonder I am out of storage.) Including items I have deleted, finally found the deleted file for them, and clicked PERMANENTLY delete.
Is anyone else having this problem? I have spent 8 solid hours (that I've time tracked) working on this. It doesn't count the time I'm not tracking - like writing this post. I really don't think I should have to do a different set of steps for every single file. There has to be a set of written instructions somewhere that actually work - the same way, every time. If not then WHY would I want to purchase more storage? I've been paying Adobe for years. I certainly don't want to spend more money, when I can't get guidance on the things I'm already paying for.
Thanks!

you don't have to delete everything (unless that's what you want), but check:
In order to free up storage, you have to disable the photoshop presets feature as described here (choose NO when asked to keep the data in the cloud): https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/using/sync-presets.html
then go to your cc web site by opening cc desktop app>clicking cloud icon>cc webempty all 8 folders (4 in your files, 2 in shared with you, 1 in shared with you, 1 in deleted)click the lightroom link at bottom left of your cc web page and delete files from there.lastly, recheck your deleted folder

Thanks. The presets were UNCHECKED by default. So I will keep trying.

CREATIVE CLOUD STORAGE:
================
Below are folders in your Creative Cloud Storage. Keep in mind, this is NOT a replacement for files on your hard drive. If you need to free up storage, I highly recommend using external hard drives or use a dedicated file backup & recovery service like Backblaze ($7/month). Creative Cloud storage is for syncing files to other devices and sharing files with clients or colleagues.
Creative Cloud Assets https://assets.adobe.com
- Synced files
- Cloud documents
- Deleted files
Lightroom https://lightroom.adobe.com
- Photos
- Albums
- Edited files
- Imported files
- Deleted files
Document Cloud https://documentcloud.adobe.com
- All documents
- Starred files
- Shared files
Adobe Express https://www.adobe.com/express/
- Projects
- Brand files
- Graphics
- Web pages
- Videos
Hope that helps.

Hi, As I mentioned the first thing I did was reach out to Adobe. Thanks for the links, but none of them address this issue. Again, the problem is Adobe Creative Cloud storage, and for example, some files created or updated in Adobe Fresco on iPad are not visible in Adobe online.

you need to check your cloud documents for fresco files, if they were saved to the cc cloud.
