Creative Cloud Apps 2024 Crashing at launch

I've been having an issue with the latest Adobe apps (2024) that for some reason it's crashing at launch. I'm using iMac Sonoma. The previous versions work fine on my computer, it's only the 2024 version that doesn't launch (including the Creative Cloud desktop app).

Interestingly, I tried making a standard test user to see what would happen and all the apps work fine there including the 2024 apps. I tried changing the permissions on a whole bunch of folders but it's still not helping...I've been in touch with senior Adobe advisors and Apple, but no one can get to the bottom of the issue. 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

NOTE: win 11 users that have trouble with the latest win 10 installer often have success with the older win 10 installer.

Thank you for this suggestion, I've tried cleaning and reinstalling multiple times (with the help of an Adobe Advisor) but it did not help:(

I cannot do this step as my creative cloud app doesn't launch

 

2. The rest of the cleaning steps were done

3. I have the latest version of OS

4. I have restarted my computer

because you won't follow instructions ( or there's a communication problem) it's best that you wait for adobe support to help you.

I don't think it's an issue with the apps as it works perfectly fine in a different username (the usernames share all apps including 3rd party apps).  It's more likely an issue with permissions or preferences I'm just not sure which (We already tried changing permissions on different files to read and write)
