Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool - time to clean?

I'm currently using the CC Cleaner Tool to uninstall CS apps from my new MacBook Pro running Monterey. I chose only one file to clean as a trial run: I selected it and clicked "Cleanup selected." It's been going for over an hour now and all I see is the spinning rainbow ball, which starts and stops sporadically. Not that I imagine it's a quick process to search out and clean up all the files associated with the app, but I was wondering how long should it take?

a few minutes, if used correctly.

to use correctly you should:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

then clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

Not that I imagine it's a quick process

It has aways been quick for me. Two mins max.

Whatever is happening on your Mac seems to be stuck in a never ending loop.

I would Force Quit, if that's available and re-boot. Then try again.
