Creative Cloud just dumped ALL of my files

Hi there Adobe - this is the 4 time this has happened, and CC has just dumped ALL of the files in my CC into the Trash!!!! It is going to take hours to restore - why does this happen and what can we do to stop this from happening. The last time this happened it was an issue that arose from you updating the platform!

Please urgently advise.
