Creative Cloud Server Error

Hello,

I have a "Creative Cloud Server Error" since Saturday night. Both Files and Fonts syncing are off and I can't turn them back on. Unfortunatelly I started a design using their desktop fonts and now, because I'm not able to use those fonts I'm stuck.

Adobe's customer service really suck!!!

I was on the phone with someone for 1 hour and 26 minutes and I got no resolution regarding my problem.

He said someone will call me within the next 2 hours and now, a day later I am still waiting for a phone call from them.

Yesterday afternoon (before 5pm!) I called them, and nobody answered for 25 minutes, when I lost my patience and hang up.

Their chat or Twitter didn't help either.

Really, Adobe??

I'm very dissapointed!

I had a similar problem. Tracked it down to the last file I saved and tried to sync. Once I moved that file out of the folder that was enclosed within the Creative Cloud Files folder, the rest of the files would sync as well as fonts. A bit of a hassle but what I feel this reveals is that CC typekit for the desktop is a flawed system. If the Cloud ever does go down for any reason during production we would be without those fonts. I've learned my lesson and won't be using CC desktop fonts for anything critical nor will I recommend anyone use them in their workflow. The Creative Cloud isn't a place to store fonts for desktop use. If Adobe doesn't want us to store those font files locally then they should drop the typekit for desktop altogether.

Hi Marius,

I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations.

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps described here?

Could you post a screen shot of the error?

What's going on with Adobe?

No reply on forum, no fix over the phone, useless chat...

That's how long I was with Adobe yesterday on the phone, and they still didn't help me to fix the problem.

Oh, not to mention they answered the phone after 1 hour and 26 seconds!!!

Very frustrating!!!

Hi Marius,

Sorry for the delay, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app already?

It might be something easy to test, there is a shortcut to the uninstaller in the Creative Cloud app folder in Applications. After uninstalling you would just want to reinstall it from https://creative.adobe.com/products

I did that 4-5 times already.

I also deleted the opm.db file.
