I have just had a conversation with Adobe support. They confirm that most Creative Cloud applications will NOT install under a virtual machine on a Mac M1, the only exceptions being the Creative Cloud desktop utility, Photoshop and Lightroom.

Has there been any updates with this? I can't get this to download on my M2 2023 M2 MacBook Pro with Parallels 18 (Windows 11)

Are you saying use it on the Mac side?
I have it on the Mac side but I need it on the Win side since there's an extension/plugin for a specific product I use that only works on Win Audition.

yes, that's what i meant.

No, the CC apps are still mostly not supported for anyone unwise enough to buy an ARM-based PC.
This is of course what Parallels Desktop emulates on an ARM-based Mac.

On the Mac side I have no problem running Audition. Why would the PC side be any different?

why? because you're using an emulated os. that's not the same as a real os.

Isn't Creative Cloud supported? I should be able to just download that, no?

i don't think it is supported on an emulate os. you can see if adobe support is willing to investigate your computer. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...
