Creative Cloud Update 5.6.5.58 won't work.

Hello.

I recently needed to install AfterEffects to my computer and tried to open the Creative Cloud to do so. The window showed with a text box reading

"Creative Cloud update available

Bug Fixes adn technical enhancements

Full Release Notes (v. 5.6.5.58)"

Followed by the auto-update switch.

I tried updating, and it seemed like it finished because I got no error and the loading bar completed, but the program did not open the window again like I figured it would. I tried manually opening the window again, only to find the same message as before! I have tried restarting my device and that still has not worked. And of course I can't uninstall Creative Cloud without first getting rid of my applications, which seems to me like a waste of time.

Any suggestions on what to try next?

  • macOS 12 (Monterey), macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 10.16 or 10.15 (Catalina)
