Failure to upload to cloud storage - jpg images exported from lightroom

I have a range of images I've exported from lightroom. These are all jpg file and I've tried to add them to the cloud storage via either photoshop or creative cloud. Creative cloud does give me an error, but it doesn't make sense.

The error I get is this (filetype not supported)

It is a jpg file - which should be supported. It's been exported as a jpg via lightroom.  I've loads of files, and they all give the same error. Plus I have lots of free space in the cloud.

Why would I be getting the error? I've attached one of the failed files.

how are you trying to upload it?  using a web browser?

I tried Photoshop initially, that didn't seem to do anything. I could create a folder, that's all.

I then tried Adobe creative cloud, that's where the screenshot came from. It was desktop app, so I used the add files, selected the photos inside file explorer then went to add and received the error.

Tried multiple files and even tried changing extension to . jpeg rather than .jpg.  Same result.

a jpg is not a cloud document. the fact that you're unable to upload is expected.

what's not expect is @David__B's response implying you should be able to add a jpg to your cloud documents.  we should get some clarification.

The below shots are taken from the page you visit after clicking on the error message that says 'learn more'. So they do support images (jpg's).
