Font in Creative Cloud App suddenly tiny

Community Beginner ,

Not sure what happened, but just opened up the Adobe Creative Cloud App after installing an update earlier this week, and the fonts inside the app are super tiny. The menu dropdowns are still the correct size, but everything inside is ridiculously small. See the attached image. How do I restore the correct font size so I can actually use it? Also, I noticed that clicking on buttons now sometime opens the wrong options, because the clickable area around the buttons seems to be much smaller, too.

SOLUTION. I just did this on my machine and it fixed it:

Navigate in PS to Edit>preferences>interface:

  1.  deselect "Scale UI to Font"
  2.  UI font size dropdown--select the size you want. Mine was defaulted to small. Medium seemed to be a good balance after rebooting PS.

FYI this also fixed the scaling of the comment sidebar/tools for online proofing/commenting.

Hope this helps!

BTW, "libraries" is NOT the correct topic for this post. What is the point of forcing topics be added when you don't offer the correct options or let us create one? How does adding the WRONG topic help users find the post? Anyone at Adobe care to explain?

Dude there is no reason to shout at another person that was probably trying their best. Being condescending is not a helpful in educating, nor promoting community growth. Maybe ease up with the allcaps.

@smaasteve,

You realize you've jumped into a 9 month old topic, right?  It's unlikely the OP or anyone else is still around to see this.

Hi @ShaneMCunningham,

Welcome to the Creative Cloud user-to-user forum.  We are mainly fellow product users like yourself, not Adobe support.   Your screenshot looks normal to me.  Text size in CC desktop app is controlled by your operating system's display settings.

not exactly true -- there is a scaling setting in the apps that greatly effect this. I've changed it once before and fixed this problem but now on here again trying to re-find what setting it was.

@smaasteve,

CC Desktop app has no scale settings.  But some individual apps do like Photoshop.  Open App Preferences > Interface > UI.  Adjust scale as required.

Another option for Windows users is Windows Magnifier (Win key + plus key).  It facilitates easier viewing of tiny menus on super Hi-Res displays.

Hope that helps.

As stated last year, Text size in CC desktop app is controlled by your operating system's display settings. Google the topic for your particular OS.

I am having this issue now, as well. First time I've opened the CC app in days, and this is what it looks like. Screen grab, with side by side of Chrome. CC is not responding to OS text size settings. It is doing all on its own. Please advise.

Thank you.

Corey

In addition to your OS's text size you may also want to check your display settings and zoom level. Your icons on your taskbar looked very small too.
