Font sync & CCP packaged software without CC app

How is font sync and your Typekit account used if you don't have access to the CC app?

I have 7 macs running on a CCP packaged version of Adobe software without the CC app (updates are managed elsewhere). What happens when a user wishes to use fonts from their Typekit account and sync to Adobe apps?
