I was running a site I built with adobe muse for many years, and paying for a hosting plan through godaddy. I recently made the switch and redesigned a whole new page in Adobe portfolio which I've had live for months. I assumed I needed to continue paying for godaddy hosting, but it recently occurred to me that Adobe is now the hosting provider, is that correct? Can I cancel my godaddy hosting plan?

yes, you don't need a webhost with adobe hosting your portfolio page. but if you have a custom name (with a domain registrar) that you're redirecting to adobe portofolio, you'll want to keep that paid when due.

Thanks for clarifying! So all I need to pay for through godaddy is my domain name itself right?

correct, if you have a custom name. eg, for anattaghost.portfolio.com, you only need a subscription. but to use anattaghost.com to point to your adobe portfolio page, you would need to register anattaghost.com with a domain registrar.
and if you already have a name registered with godaddy, you just would update that name to point to your portfolio page and not your godaddy hosted page.

Great thank you so much! I've had my domain pointing to my portfolio for months now and had just continued paying godaddy for hosting until now!
