I need to back up my cloud files to local drives. It appears that Adobe makes you download one at a time. This will take days and expose the process to errors.
I thought I could move them into a folder then dowload the folder -NOPE! Anytime more than one file is selected, the download option is removed.
It's 2025. This has been requested as far back as 2015. How is this not possible? Considering the history of cloud files vanishing, this seems like a good option. This is a very risky system.
Can it be done? Thank for any help.
For anyone wonder this same thing, here is what I've been told once I fnally got through to support. It can't be done on the web. It has to be one at a time.
But within the cloud app you can do up to 10 at a time. So still risky and time consuming, but better than 1 at a time. You get an occaisional pop-up during download that some files fail. If you don't monitor and quickly note which ones, you may miss it. So you must do a side-by-side comparison of your downloaded and cloud fies to ensure yo

Thanks for the quick response.
I can SELECT multiple files, but once you select more than one file, the DOWNLOAD option is no longer available. That's the problem.

On the good side, it DOES NOT zip the dowloads like many cloud servers do. That'll help reduce the time to unzip then do a manual side-by side comparison to see which ones were missed.
Adobe CC has a lot of good features for the price, but it's things like this that make me question the "Pro" label.

This is unacceptable and makes me want to dump Adobe for good. Time to start looking at other options.

It's absolutely unacceptable that a company of Adobe’s size and financial strength fails to provide such a basic and essential feature as bulk download. This feels like a deliberate obstacle designed to make it harder for users to leave the platform with their own data.
For a service that charges premium subscription fees, this level of customer experience is disappointing at best, and at worst, exploitative. Users trust Adobe with their creative work, and they should be able to retrieve it easily and efficiently, without being punished for choosing to move on.
Adobe should implement a bulk download option immediately. It's the bare minimum of what users deserve in return for their investment. I'm so disappointed, I can't believe Adobe is making me download my files one by one.

Agreed. This is such a basic storage feature...I honestly question the reason why they'd limit the download except to discourage moving to different products.

adobe's cc file system is not a file storage/backup system. it's explicitly designed for sharing files.

Thanks for the response. It's a valid point and something i agree with. You should own and conttol your own creative. It does seem Adobe (like many companies) are pushing users toward cloud storage. Fresco, i think, stores everything in the cloud. I may be wrong. But i think that's why I posted this question originally.

i understand. it took me a long time to understand adobe's cloud storage. it's especially confusing if you think of it as one thing or something with a unifying principle. i found it easier to understand as a hodgepodge of file handling.
